Gibson Robot Guitar

Now I'm sure some of you have already heard of Gibson's Robotic Guitars, but I personally love them so I think it is fitting for me to write about them.

The Robotic Guitar comes in four different model types: Les Paul, SG, Flying V, and Explorer. What it is, is a standard guitar with one amazing feature. That feature is the ability to not ever have to tune it by hand again. Simply all you do is press the Master Control Knob (MCK) and then you lightly strum the strings; the guitar then starts to automatically spin the tuning knobs using robotic mechanics and gives you a perfect tune in seconds.

The limitations do not stop at just standard tuning. You also have:

DADGAD

Open E

Open G

Dropped D

Double Dropped D (Drop C)

Eb

The first edition guitars were only available in blue and the second generatior was only available in purple and they only made a few thousand of them. Now they have standard editions of the Les Pauls and SGs and are available in a variety of colors. The Flying V and Explorer, however, are only available in metallic red. These guitars range in prices anywhere from $1000 to $4000.

Amazon is having a sale on them for a whopping 60% off right now. This is the link to buy. I'm definitely considering buying right now.
